X% of Y:(X ÷ 100) × Y
X is what % of Y:(X ÷ Y) × 100
% change from X to Y:((Y − X) ÷ X) × 100
For example, 20% of 500 is (20 ÷ 100) × 500 = 100. And a change from 100 to 120 is ((120 − 100) ÷ 100) × 100 = 20% increase.
